Nossa Yoga : Capoeirasana™ is a yoga class developed with a capoeirista perspective for everybody! The class utilizes teachings from capoeira, yoga and acrobatics to create an asana sequence that challenges and supports a practitioner into advancing their practices of both yoga and capoeira.
Core strength, coordination, alignment and balance will be fortified through arm balances, inversions (bananeiras) and backbends (pontes). This is an all-levels class. The capoeirista that seeks injury prevention or alignment refinement in a movement, as well as the yogi eager to be exposed to some aspects of capoeira will both benefit. At any level, you will be asked to explore your edge.
